Discontinued Toys from John Deere

It would be untrue to simply say that Deere has made some toys over the last fifty years or so. Untrue because they have made a LOT of toys, not just a few from time to time. There are literally decades of toy production to collect. Many of the hardest to locate date from only from the last twenty years or so. As a rule, toys enjoy a natural lifespan as they are introduced, reach their full sales, experience a drop in sales and then are finally discontinued. It can be very difficult to locate a particular toy once it is out of production so most knowledgeable collectors keep a close eye on the introduction of new toys and purchase them when they are able to. In this section of our site we will offer toys no longer readily available. Some will be common and some will be unknown to many collectors.

Check back as we will change our selection from time to time.

John Deere GPWT Bronze Replica

Click on image for larger view Numerous low production toys have been available in the last twenty years, many never seen in most areas of the country. Shown here is a bronze replica of the John Deere model GPWT on steel and it dates from the late 1980's. This one happens to be the even less common Farmhand company version so at least two versions were made. Never seen one? Don't worry, hardly anyone else has either!
